I miss Arizona BUT...

How nice is it to go outside and actually ENJOY the weather, instead of hide from it? Spring in Portland is just beautiful. There are tulips and daffodils everywhere and the trees are blossoming in different pastels. We have been taking the kids on walks to the park in our red wagon lately and I never knew that a simple walk could be so entertaining. The kids are like a show when they are in the wagon together- she is always laughing and trying to spot animals and Mason just stares at her and gets excited to inform us of when she is talking or doing something cute. We feel so blessed to have such beautiful children who love each other so much. These are just a few shots of Ava at the park because we brought her new ride-on toy (thinking we might encourage some movement out of our adorable, chubby, and content to chill-out child) and she was very serious about it. I tried to include Mase in the pictures, but he was too busy going down the slide and running around the track to bother with me. On second thought, maybe it's not so bad that Ava is still immobile...

Natalie--I clicked on several blog links from my brother/sister-in-law's blog to see if I knew anyone. I came across "Hancock" and was excited to see familiarity. I grew up in Winslow and know Roland; also, I'm sure you don't remember, but I met you once at Sweet Tomatoes when you were expecting your first child. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and that your family is adorable!
