There ARE perks to being four!

There is something ridiculously exciting about a boy who suddenly decides to wipe his own booty.

Showdown

Princesses verses superheroes. Who do YOU think will win?

(Note the pictures on their pajama tops. They are CLEARLY rooting for their own teams...)

We'll miss you, snowbirds! (:

We finally moved out last month, after spending about five months living at my parents house. We were ready to have our own space again, and I'm sure they were ready to be done living with other people again. (After having kids living with them since, uh, 1963???) BUT... we did have a good time hanging out with them and the kids just LOVED IT! I also had some added perks- thanks for doing the dishes, mom! (And I know I can never repay you for all of the babysitting, but just know that Ava loved every second of it.) Now they are making the big snowbird migration and heading back to their adorable haven in Beaver, Utah for the summer. We have appreciated their good examples, their warm hospitality, their love for each other and their family, and their GREAT babysitting skills. Monster Hancock will live forever, Dad! The grandparents bonded with both kids, but especially Mase and Grandpa and Ava and Grandma. It was really nice. A few photos from our short return to 2375 Greentree Drive:

Swamped

No, I did not forget about my blog... My excuses for not posting are endless, but mainly it is because we moved into a new house and the Time Warner guys could not get us hooked up with cable and internet for a MONTH! (Tomorrow is the big day) So, I have a ton of things to post but for now, I will leave you with a quote from my date with Ro yesterday...
"Sears is the BOMB-DIGGITY!"
(I am sure that nobody has or ever will in the future utter that sentence again, so I thought everyone should hear it the one time it will be said.)
