Just wanted to record some funny things these guys have been saying lately.
When Ava gets something she wants, like to eat a banana or go down the slide, she says, in the most hilarious tone, "WU-CKY!" (Lucky.)
I put her in her booster for lunch the other day and a salad was sitting there for her (she loves salad but not many other veggies) and she said, "Oh my doodness! Sawad!"
Ro was cooking for me the other day (again) and he told Mase he felt like Ratatouille. Mase looked at him and said, "Try FATatouille!" and started cracking up. I am STILL laughing as I write this one, by the way...
We were walking through the toy aisles at Walmart and Mase said, "HOLY GHOST! More superheroes!"

Mase: You know what you smell like? OLD PEOPLE!

I was looking at Halloween costumes online with Mase and we found the PERFECT one, only it was very expensive.
Me: I love this costume, but we have to ask Daddy because it costs a lot of money.
Mase: But mom, I really want it! Please!!!!
Me: I don't know...
Mase: (Leaves for a minute and comes back from his room with six grimy quarters.) We can buy it with MY money!

Mase: I can't WAIT until Ava gets old enough to have babies in her tummy!
Me: That will be fun (I think)... and maybe someday your wife can have babies in her tummy and you can be a Daddy.
Mase: (Looks at me for awhile and then, fighting tears...) But I'm going to marry AVA. When we are both grown-ups, right? I don't want a different wife.

Me: Yes, it is buddy.
Mase: WHY did you cut him up?! Next time you need to leave him in the ocean instead of putting him in the OVEN!
(We may have a future vegan on our hands...)

Ava: Oh! Good counting, Mommy! (while clapping)

Aves: You welcome! (At least we are teaching her to be polite...)
